A very interesting post. I live in Australia and many of our towns names came from early English settlers names or where they were from. It is a subject I know very little about, including name of people.
You have sparked my curiosity now.

Thanks so much for looking at my posts. Hope to see you all at the North East Cousins Reunion here at my home in mid August (Invitation coming to you soon). Hopefully all the New England Cousins will be here. We will have lots to tell because the First Cousins of The big Wisconsin Reunion will be back home by then and will have much news to share about the Wisconsin Reunion. Summer is Wonderful!!!!
